The RailOne App is a new official super app from Indian Railways, launched in July 2025. It is designed to give passengers everything they need for train travel in one single app, so there is no need to download multiple railway apps anymore.

Who Made the App
The RailOne App has been developed by CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems) for the Ministry of Railways.
It is available for both Android and iOS devices.
Tip: If you already have an IRCTC or UTS account, you can log in to RailOne with the same details — no new registration is needed.
How to Book a Ticket in RailOne App
Step 1: Install and Open the RailOne App
- Download RailOne from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
- Open the app.
Step 2: Log In or Sign Up
- If you already have an IRCTC or UTS account — log in with those details.
- If not, tap Sign Up, enter your mobile number, email, and create a password.
- Set up mPIN or fingerprint login for faster access.
Step 3: Choose “Book Ticket”
- On the home screen, tap Book Ticket.
- Select Reserved Ticket (Sleeper, AC, etc.) or Unreserved Ticket (short-distance travel).
Step 4: Enter Your Journey Details
- From Station – starting point of your journey
- To Station – your destination
- Date of Journey – choose travel date
- Select Class (Sleeper, 3AC, 2AC, etc.) and Quota (General, Tatkal, etc.)
- Tap Search Trains
Step 5: Select Your Train
- View available trains with seat status.
- Tap the train you want and select the preferred class.
Step 6: Enter Passenger Details
- Fill in passenger name, age, gender, and berth preference.
- Add multiple passengers if required (as per ticket limit).
Step 7: Review & Confirm
- Check all details carefully.
- If waitlisted/RAC, you can choose Vikalp for better confirmation chances.
Step 8: Make Payment
- Choose from:
- RWallet (3% discount on unreserved tickets)
- UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking
- Complete payment securely.
Step 9: Get Your Ticket
- After payment, your e-ticket will appear in the app.
- You will also get an SMS and email with your PNR number.
- View your ticket anytime under My Bookings.
